Hinckley Allen Strengthens Corporate and Litigation Practices with Strategic Hires in Boston and Albany

Firm continues investments in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and complex litigation, adding top talent across key offices

Hinckley Allen is continuing its strategic growth with two new additions that further strengthen the firm’s corporate and litigation practices. The firm welcomes Kevin Madden as a Partner in the Corporate & Business Transactions Group in Boston. Also, it welcomes back Kieran T. Murphy as an Associate in the Litigation Group in Albany.

These hires reinforce Hinckley Allen’s sustained investment in core practice areas, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and complex litigation, and build on a period of significant growth. Over the summer and fall, the firm welcomed seven new attorneys—including two partners, one counsel, and four associates—across its Boston, Hartford, and Providence offices, who strengthened the firm’s real estate, construction, corporate transactions, and litigation practices.

“Hinckley Allen’s continued growth reflects our commitment to investing in talent that enhances our ability to meet clients’ evolving business needs,” said Patrick A. Rogers, Managing Partner. “Kevin’s extensive transactional experience and Kieran’s litigation background exemplify the caliber of professionals joining our team as we expand in key markets and practice areas.”

Kevin advises private equity and venture capital investors, as well as public and private companies, through all stages of growth from startup through exit. Before joining Hinckley Allen, he was a partner at the Boston office of a large international law firm, where he advised private equity sponsors and corporate clients on domestic and cross-border transactions.

Kieran’s practice focuses on antitrust class actions, complex commercial litigation, internal investigations, and bankruptcy proceedings. He returns to Hinckley Allen after a recent clerkship for the Honorable Anne M. Nardacci of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York.

Recognized as one of the Best Places to Work in Rhode Island, Connecticut, and New York, Hinckley Allen continues to cultivate a culture grounded in collaboration, mentorship, and professional development. Its practices and attorneys are consistently ranked by Chambers USA, Best Lawyers in America, and U.S. News – Best Law Firms, underscoring the firm’s reputation for excellence and client service.

This latest wave of talent reflects Hinckley Allen’s ongoing strategy of thoughtful expansion and investment in its people—ensuring the firm remains well-positioned to serve clients with the depth, experience, and innovation that have defined its success for almost 120 years.
