Tara Singh Recognized as an Up & Coming Lawyer in Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly’s Excellence in the Law

Hinckley Allen is pleased to announce that Litigation Partner Tara Singh has been recognized by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly as an Up & Coming Lawyer in its 2026 Excellence in the Law program. The award celebrates rising star attorneys who demonstrate extraordinary professional accomplishments, leadership, and service to the legal community.

Tara focuses her practice on complex and sensitive matters, including white-collar defense, internal investigations, school safety and workplace misconduct inquiries, and federal fraud cases. She is widely respected for her strategic judgment, meticulous advocacy, and ability to navigate high-stakes matters with both legal sophistication and empathy.

Tara is deeply committed to mentorship, equity and inclusion, and leadership within the legal profession. She was recently elected 2026 Co-President of the South Asian Bar Association of Greater Boston, where she expanded the organization’s mentorship program to include early-career attorneys. Tara also serves as Co-Chair of the Boston Bar Association’s Business and Commercial Litigation Section and is actively involved with the Women’s White Collar Defense Association, the Women’s Bar Foundation, and the Women’s Bar Association.

“I am incredibly honored to be recognized by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly alongside so many talented attorneys,” said Tara. “I’m grateful to my colleagues at Hinckley Allen for their steadfast mentorship and support, and to the clients who have trusted me with some of their most challenging matters.”

Tara’s recognition as an Up & Coming Lawyer underscores the firm’s commitment to excellence and the strength of rising talent. She joins a distinguished group of firm honorees, following Alexandra Gordon Briggs (2025), Richard Goulding (2024), Laurel Gilbert Rogowski (2021), and Jared Shwartz (2019), further solidifying Hinckley Allen’s reputation for developing the industry’s next generation of leaders.

This year’s honorees will be recognized on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at the Venezia Restaurant in Boston, MA.
