Hinckley Allen Partner, C. Robert Zelinger, has worked with client Double R Partners, a private equity firm, specializing in acquisition entrepreneurship, for close to a decade. Double R Partners founders Royce Yudkoff and Richard Ruback began Double R in 2012 in the early days of search funds. The transaction kept evolving over eight months as we kept learning new facts about the company and the seller kept changing their requests on deal terms. When we finally closed, we were so happy we did. This wouldn’t have happened without Bob’s patient hand, working closely with seller and seller’s counsel, and regularly steering them back to market terms or finding ways to solve newly emerging differences between us,” said Royce. Bob and Jared work cooperatively with the company being acquired, communicating proactively, setting expectations, and outlining the process to ensure every deal proceeds efficiently.
