Hinckley Allen Welcomes New Attorneys


Hinckley Allen today welcomed four attorneys to the firm, expanding its litigation, construction, and real estate practices: Nathalie M. Vega Crespo, Daniel P. Moses, Christian A. Mines, and Isabelle M. Oviedo. These additions demonstrate Hinckley Allen’s commitment to growth across its varied practice groups.

Nathalie M. Vega Crespo joins the firm’s Litigation group as an Associate in the Providence office. Before joining Hinckley Allen, Nathalie was a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Justice Maureen McKenna Goldberg at the Rhode Island Supreme Court. Prior to her time with the Rhode Island Supreme Court, she clerked at the Rhode Island Superior Court with several judges, including Presiding Justice Alice B. Gibney.

Nathalie earned a JD summa cum laude from Roger Williams University School of Law and a BA in Economics and Political Science cum laude from Assumption University. She is mediation certified and bilingual in English and Spanish. She is also a member of the Hispanic National Bar Association, the Rhode Island Hispanic Bar Association, as well as the Rhode Island Bar Association and its New Lawyers committee. Nathalie is a member of the Board of Directors and the Governance Committee for the Reach Out and Read program in Providence, RI.

Daniel P. Moses joins the firm’s Construction & Public Contracts group as an Associate in the Boston office. Dan has worked most recently as Senior Contracts Manager at The Weitz Company where he evaluated and managed risks associated with contract administration for all West Coast projects – including Hawaii and Guam – for the Naval Facilities Engineering Command and the United States Army Corps of Engineers. He also served as the company’s primary point of contact with outside counsel through litigation of various contract disputes with the Government and subcontractors. Moreover, Dan led mediation and negotiation efforts to resolve complex disputes with subcontractors, sureties, and owners.

Dan earned a JD from Syracuse University College of Law and holds a BS in Building Construction from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.

Christian A. Mines joins the Hartford office as an Associate in the firm’s Real Estate group. Christian has gained experience across the firm and with other firms in real estate transactions, corporate and legal malpractice memoranda, medical malpractice, tax assessment, corporate law and banking law. He is also a decorated Master Sergeant in the Army National Guard, recipient of a Meritorious Service Medal and Army Commendation for Valor, among other awards. Christian holds a JD and MBA from the University of Connecticut and a BS from Post University.

Isabelle M. Oviedo joins the Boston office as a first-year Associate and a participant in the Hinckley Allen Assignment Pool (HAAP) program. HAAP is the firm’s new first-year professional development program that seeks to facilitate integration across the firm and develop well-rounded associates with a wide range of foundational skills. As a HAAP participant she will have access to assignments from all of the firm’s practice groups. Belle recently earned a JD from Northeastern University School of Law and received a BA cum laude from St. Edward’s University. She was a member of Hinckley Allen’s 2021 Summer Associate Program.

Prior to joining Hinckley Allen, Belle was an Intern at the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office Health Care Division. During law school, Belle was a Law Clerk at Maldonado Law Group in San Antonio, TX. Belle was also a Legal Intern for the Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services (RAICES) in Austin during her time at St. Edward’s University.
